We are looking to hire a Web Developer for an exciting project in fashion technology.
The ideal candidate will have a variety of qualities and experience working on large-scale projects with overlapping components. Ideal developer will also have experience working on large, pre-existing codebases. This is on a contract basis with the potential to turn into a permanent position. Thorough documentation of code is a must.
Technical skills required:
PHP, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
- + PHP - highest importance, working with arrays, large sets of variables; need
experienced programmers with solid knowledge of using PHP as it is not via a framework - + MySQL - high importance: table joins, subselects, speed & efficiency checkups
- + HTML, XML - medium/high experience Quirks Mode experience, not necessarily a doctype,
and the output has to be compatible even with old browsers like IE6. - + JavaScript - high importance, here as well a framework can be used, but the coder also needs experience in
hand written code (DOM-scripting is a must; ideal candidate knows way around the DOM without external libraries) - + CSS - low/medium importance, this is just used for skinning the application
- + Dealing with large-scale system
- + Procedurally written system - no libraries
